The Better Business Bureau of Amarillo & the Texas panhandle celebrated good business at the 2024 Torch Awards for Ethics Celebration Friday night.
Winners were announced in three categories in the Torch Awards for Ethics competition.
Sixteen companies were presented with the President’s Award and the Excellence in Community Service Award was presented to Chris Rhynehart.

Companies in the competition addressed details on how their leadership focuses on Character, Culture, Customers and Community.
Chris Rhynehart was awarded the Excellence in Community Service Award for his tireless and outstanding work in the community.
President’s Award recipients are recognized for their longevity of upholding BBB Standards for Trust for 25 years or more. “It’s important to recognize these milestones for the companies and also as a way to educate consumers to do business with good, reputable companies who care about their customers,” said Janna Kiehl, BBB President. This is the very beginning of consumer education – making sure the community is prepared to do business conscientiously.
