Better Business Bureau® (BBB®) Serving Greater Cleveland presented its 2024 BBB Spark Award at its annual breakfast, the Celebration of Integrity. The event occurred Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at Stillwater Place in the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

BBB’s Spark Award recognizes early-stage businesses and entrepreneurial organizations whose leaders demonstrate a high level of character, generate a culture that is authentic about its mission, and embed social impact into their business model to support their community.

Applicants submitted a written application as well as a short video. This year’s Spark Award finalists are:

  • The Capsoul Collective, Inc.
  • Great Lakes Water Sports
  • Harris Homecare LLC

The 2024 Spark Award was awarded to Natasha Harris, owner of Harris Homecare, LLC in Brooklyn, Ohio, for her dedication to character, culture, and community.

Harris Homecare demonstrates a strong commitment to community service and employee support. They organize initiatives including holiday meals for clients and the community, toy drives, and monthly grocery assistance. Their hands-on leadership approach fosters a culture of teamwork and mutual support. They prioritize staff appreciation through gestures like gift cards and surprise gifts, while also valuing honesty and transparency in their communication with their team.

"BBB is excited to support our local entrepreneurs," said BBB President and CEO, Sue McConnell. "Greater Cleveland is home to a strong entrepreneurial network brimming with young passionate leaders who are building a marketplace focused on trust and a spirit of giving back to the community."

The Celebration of Integrity, which honors BBB’s Spark Award, is supported by the John Carroll University Boler College of Business, with valuable support from Party411, New Image Media, & Sheakley
