As part of the Safety Group Program presented by BBB and sponsored by Pinnacol Assurance, 13 companies in Northern Colorado and Greater Denver areas have been honored with the Best in Safety Award. This year, the Best in Safety Award goes to members of the Safety Group Program who met the following criteria:
- Have no losses for the period of June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023;
- Have a loss modification factor of .85 or below;
- Be Cost Containment Certified by the state of Colorado; and
- A current member of the Safety Group presented by BBB and sponsored by Pinnacol Assurance

The Safety Group Program presented by BBB and sponsored by Pinnacol Assurance helps BBB Accredited Businesses throughout Colorado reduce their workers’ compensation costs through policies that include a 4% discount on premiums, safety education programs presented in-person and online throughout the year, and the opportunity to earn an annual dividend based on group performance.
