BBB Central Ohio welcomes new members to Board of Directors

Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Central Ohio proudly welcomes Jamie Barlett and Todd Markiewicz as the newest members of its Board of Directors. Their extensive leadership experience in business strategy, entrepreneurship, and media will further strengthen BBB’s role in advancing Trust in the marketplace.

Jamie Barlett

Jamie Barlett is the founder and CEO of BBB Accredited Business PolyPay, a payment solutions provider with offices in San Luis Obispo, California, and Columbus, Ohio. Under her leadership, PolyPay has expanded its reach to 10 states, more than seven business verticals, and more than 50 cities.

Prior to launching PolyPay, Barlett was a consultant for Accenture, where she participated in projects with major corporations, including Cisco, Kaiser Permanente, and Pacific Gas and Electric. She also held key leadership roles at Pacific Gas and Electric, specializing in Leadership and Development, Talent Acquisition, HR, and Mentoring.

Barlett holds a dual degree in English and Economics from Wellesley College and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Todd Markiewicz

Todd Markiewicz is a media and marketing executive with extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. He currently serves as President & General Manager of BBB Accredited Business C-Bus Media Group, overseeing the organization's strategic direction and business development.

Previously, Markiewicz served as President of The 1870 Society, an Ohio State-affiliated NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) collective supporting student-athletes. His background also includes media strategy, broadcasting operations, and community engagement.

Markiewicz is deeply involved in the 2nd & 7 Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to combating childhood illiteracy, underscoring his commitment to education and community impact.  He also is an active member of the advisory committee for LifeSports at OSU, a child-focused charity using sports to teach powerful life lessons and fitness at Ohio State.
