My experience is that Georgia Probate Law Group (****) is much more focused on having the client refill the monthly retainer than on the details of the case and moving it forward. When I emailed my assigned attorney ******************************** on one occasion, he replied he could do no work on my case until I replenished the $3000 retainer even though I had an $800 balance and had not yet received any additional billing or accounting.I was charged for requesting **** correct the name on my case file - their mistake. New paperwork to correct it included a higher retainer amount than previously discussed - despite my being told the only change was the name.**** ******** are first of month and due within 14 days. They are not as prompt in returning retainer at disengagement. I requested to end the attorney/client relationship ***. 15. On March 13, **** sent email the disengagement package had been sent via U.S. *************** The certified mail tracking number provided no information, and the postal service informed me no package was received or scanned. I asked **** to resend payment by a different method and received my retainer balance via ***** on April 6. Attorney ******************************** seemed a junior counsel who needed a lot of coaching. The initial communication he drafted to heirs was filled with grammatical errors, inflammatory language and ******** did not hire professionals to pay to correct rookie mistakes. The initial draft should have been clean.I provided thorough documentation regarding my concern during onboarding. Yet, both the attorney and paralegal ***** D*** seemed unprepared for the initial consultation, asking questions answered in the documents. **** back-and-forth seems intentional, as each email or phone call adds a line item to the next billing statement. **** did get a response from an uncommunicative estate administrator. Still, it was a heavy lift as a client. Frankly, I expected more. I do not recommend their services.
