I bought my ram **** new in 2015. The salesman insisted that I buy a LIFETIME vehicle protection plan. He said I can buy it for $3,000 and never worry again. He said he just sold the same plan to the family before me for $4,000. I was with my wife and son, and we agreed to buy it. 7 years later I had a weird engine issue come up. the truck has been great. I brought it in to the service ***** 2 days later they said they have to replace the camshaft and it will cost $2,800-$3,000. I said wow good thing I have my lifetime warranty. He said he will have to notify Mopar of this. 1 week later he said it looks like my warranty was going to cover it. Another week went by, and he said it looks like they have to replace the whole engine. Good thing I have that LIFETIME warranty. Another week went by, and he said the warranty people are coming out to look at it. I asked if I could be there, and he said yes. The warranty people came, they didn't call me, and they just emailed my engine isn't under the LIFETIME warranty covered because of sludge. I have records showing 16 oil changes. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM
