I hired Longview Landscaping to for annual yard maintenance which included fall and spring cleanup, summer start-up, irrigation adjustments and blow out and weeding the yard for 1 year, starting Sept 23 2022 and ending sept 23 2023. Longview did come and do the spring clean up and blew out my irrigation, however they did not pick the weeds from my yard. **** (the owner) indicated they would come by and check every two weeks in the summer. They only came once and not at all for most of the summer, mid July to end of September. They usually charge me $475 for the spring/fall cleanup and the irrigation blow-out, but this was $1250, meaning the weeding was worth $775 in addition. I paid the $1250 up front. I have sent Longview multiple, polite text messages and they are simply ignoring me. I asked for $625 back as they did come to pick weeds once and I'm sure the $475 has gone up a little due to inflation. I have attached photos of the text message's I have sent to **** and Longview which also contain photos of the weeds in my yard which have clearly been going all summer. I have also attached screenshots of the text massages from last fall where everything was agreed to. As well as a text message from a previous year showing that the non weeding work (the work he did do, its typically done for $475.Customer response

Hello,
After telling Longview I filed a complaint they finally offered me a partial refund ($400). It's sad it had to come to that'd appreciated the BBB as an option to give consumers rights and protections.
It's as good as an outcome that I can probably expect so we can consider this dealt with.
