I had my transmission repaired at this shop. However, my transmission did not need a full rebuild. This knowledge was provided to me by my mechanic who has worked on my vehicle for years, and said it only needed a reverse sensor and was astonished at what I was charged. Even a torque converter was installed at the cost of over 1400 dollars when I did not have any symptoms of a bad Torque Converter, and the total repair cost was over 5k dollars. In speaking with ***** he tried to speak over me* **** ** ****** ***** * **** ***** ** ******* ** ************** *** ****** ***** * **** ***** ** ***** ** *********. It took over 3 weeks to get my car back and a lot of confusion at the front desk when I would call to see how much longer it would take. I have physical spine and neck limitations. Once I got my car back, I had the work verified with my professional auto repair shop because of the terrible jerking (Kris wasn't accountable and said he didn't think it was an install problem and that it was a ground fault). It turned out none of the codes were cleared from the initial transmission problem. My coolant began to leak a couple of days later (hence the derogatory comments from ****). The Y-pipe broke most likely when the engine was dropped to remove transmission. Still have hard shifting in 1st to 2nd and when gearing down from 2nd to 1st (auto transmission). My mechanic will be handling all warranty concerns (he is warranty approved) and that way he said he will deal with this properly and effectively to ensure there is no BS or deceit from **** *******. I emailed the head office in ******* in regards to this problem and CC'd **** ******** in the email. I thought they might be concerned about the repair discrepancy and the treatment I received and the entire reputation of Mister Transmission as a whole. To date I have not had a response from **** ******* ** *** ******* ** ****** *** ********. The Franchise's head office isn't interested.
