I took a rebuilt engine and transmission to this shop to be installed in my **** van the original quote was ****, a week later I was informed that the engine was not rebuild ( my fault for buying the engine) but it was put in my van buy this shop I was informed it was not his job to inspect anything before installing , the engine needed a head gasket and everything in the engine was loose so he quoted me another **** to do the work on the engine and reinstall again properly, so the engine wouldn't start after many other issues with the starter and the timing he told me he had to bring in another mechanic to get it running ( no sure why he needed another mech.) now it has been about 5 weeks in, I went to the shop and one of the workers told me the lifters was over tightened that is why it would not start, now the engine was running but very rough he blamed it on timing and carb after I paid extra to the other mech to adjust the carb now I into it **** dollars , when I took the van for a test drive it was running very rough so I called back and explain to him what was going on and he told me that both of his mechanics quit on him and he is by him self and he don't know how to adjust a carburetor anyways, at this point I was upset and thinking what is a another couple of hundred $$ so I took my van to another mechanic and $950 later to find out my Engine is no good do to over tightening the lifters and what ever else they did to the engine my cam shaft was damaged and needs to be takin a part { rebuilt again } or another engine , so I'm devastated now and after almost $7000 with parts that I shopped for him and deliver it to him now I'm in squire 1 with broken van that he says his not doing anything about it, I just realized why he always asked for cash payment and even reject my debit card, inconclusion I just want to be treated fairly by this company and for the owner to own up to the mistakes that were made and help me correct the issues that are his fault. **
