Hello,Im ******************** who called a few minutes ago to complain about Country Hills Auto selling me a Dodge Caliber for $5,300 on October 21,2022. $300 credit c/$1500 debit /$3500 cash. The seller assured me of their 3 month warranty policy plus clean inspection report for this car. I interacted with a man called ***. I told him that I needed a reliable car for my son to go to school with and they assured me that the Dodge Calibre was a was in very good shape and to go with it. He also said the winter tires on it would serve me this season which I see is false- it has no grips at all. Also false is their promise to provide a 3 month warranty on the car:- the first day we drove off their lot, we noticed a cautionary sign on the dashboard which I immediately informed them about. After arguments, *** stopped by my place the next day and told my son to go with him to a gas station to put air into the tires. They did and the sign temporarily disappeared only to reappear again. I had asked for my refund due to the bitter experience. Two weeks ago I called *** and let him know that there was a knocking sound we heard while driving the vehicle. He said okay take it to his mechanic - ******* **** *******. HE said to tell them he was responsible for looking after the issue. So, I dropped off the car and never heard back from the mechanic again until last week Thursday when I went back again to the mechanic. *** told me the previous day there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and that the mechanic had told him that it was in good condition after checking it, and test-drove it for 3 to 4 Kilometres. I believed *** until I spoke with the mechanic. The mechanic listed 4 items mainly tie -rods needing replacement, which he said *** refused to pay for.The shocking thing is the lies *** told to cover up the issue and the mechanic calling me to pick up the car. The car is still with his mechanic.I want my money back. Cant deal with them; they are dishonest.
