On January 25th, 2024, I went in person to NIWE Academy to possibly sign up for their Clinical Aesthetics program. I met with ************* the Senior Admissions Advisor and we went over the program. I had an excited feeling going into this appointment and when ********* pushed for the $500 registration fee I didnt think twice about my decision until I left and went home. Within 24hrs I realized that NIWE Academy was not the right fit for me and I wrote an email on January 26th, 2024 to ********* thanking her for her time and letting her know that I was no longer interested in attending NIWE.********* then called me to question my change of thought and then agreed that I was within the 4 day grace ****** of my contract and would receive my refund of the $500 registration fee promptly. On February 1st, 2024, I reached out to NIWE to speak with ********* on the phone to inquire when I would be expecting the refund but the lady who answered the phone said ********* was not in. She asked about my problem and I let her know I was expecting a refund and would like to know what date that would be. The lady on the phone immediately shut down my request saying there are no refunds and as I pushed my position of being within my rights of one she put me on hold to talk to a man (didnt get his name). When she returned to the call she let me know the man said I will be receiving the refund the following week (February 4-10).On February 25th 2024, 30 days since I gave my notice to terminate my contract, I sent an email to Shaillini, and to their general contact email *************** and an accounting email I was given. I let them know that is has now been 30 days since Ive terminated my contract and I have yet to receive my refund. I have not received ANY response. I have my copy of the student enrolment contract and I have the copy of the emails that I have sent. I also have the e-transfer receipt of the $500 I sent to NIWE Academy.
