    I paid ***** at McAara energy for a full AC install on March 23rd, 2022, this included AC unit, AC cover, labor, and permit work (see ******** invoice). I asked ***** to help me also pull permits for electrical work in the garage and he told me there were no issues to get this done and he will send me an electrician (****). From April 29th until September 29th, 2022 I was following up with the electrician that ***** sent me. His electrician on September 29th said that he can't pull permits for the AC and garage heater as it was overloading the electrical panel. I asked **** what if we just pull permits for the AC unit and not the garage heater? He told me having the AC was still overloading the panel and the city would not pass inspection. When I went to ***** and told him that having just the AC unit installed is overloading the electrical panel and **** refused to pull permits for even just the AC unit ***** told me to contact another electrician by the name of ******. It was my assumption that ****** was sent out to complete the work that **** was sent out to do because ***** told me to tell ****** what needed to get done. ****** came by, told me there were no issues to pull permits for the AC and garage heater and we got the permit completed on December 8th (see ******** permit completion). Since ****** was an independent contractor he charged me $200 to pull the permit and $225 for labor (see ******** invoice). I have also been trying to reach ***** via phone with no call back from him to discuss. I tried calling again on Dec 22nd and he told me he was on vacation. Since I did not hear back I texted him between January 27th to January 31st. See ******** text message exchange as to why I am contacting BBB. ***** is now threating me and telling me I will be cut off if I continue to discuss this with him. and following up for the AC cover.

    I met Chris ***** ** *** **** * ****** **** in ******* 2021. We purchased a A/C unit which was installed fall 2021 (paid over $5000). At the time we were pleased with his service. We did all the services needed to make sure the 15 year warranty would always be in good standing (August 2022 last service done by Chris himself). We then started having issues with the A/C unit freezing up off & on starting in May 2022. I tried MANY TIMES calling Chris leaving MANY MESSAGES for him to contact me & NEVER heard back. The number is now disconnected. I have found out that the unit which was installed was for a commercial size building not a home our size. Because the A/C unit is to big it is causing the freezing. We now have to have it replaced costing us another $4300 to have a correct unit installed for the size of our home. I feel we have been duped & no way to be compensated for this. * **** ***** ***** *** **** *** ***** ******** ***** *** **** ***** * I'm believing he has now ran from this company leaving us with a unit that we can’t use.

    Residential air conditioners run between 1.5 tons and 5 tons of cooling. Based on the square footage you provided, your vaulted ceiling, glass allowances of your windows and your husbands health condition you have failed to mention that you and I both decided to install a 5 ton Ac. Your house calculations came in at 4 tons but based on the home show special we were able to move you up to the 5 ton package for a few hundred dollars more. Your Ac was installed in 2021 and worked just fine the last few years. There is only two real reasons why and Ac would freeze up and that is poor air flow or low refrigerant charge which can be easily fixed with a basic service call. The company you called scammed you into a new Ac sale and thats who you should be complaining about. That Ac, if the company you hired was reputable would have told you that your Ac has 10 years parts and labour registered through the manufacturer and that there would be no charge to you but instead preyed on you for a quick sale. Reputable companies cant live on $4,300.00 Ac installation margins which tells me the company you hired is a fly by night. Also, my company has been at every *** home show at least three times a year for the last 10 years and companies that are there like myself are not out to dup anyone as we are in front of tens of thousands of people at each show. Further more, I dont need to explain my company to you or our business dealings or take or return anybodys call. I was fortunate to have sold my company and be able to give my family financial freedom most people can only dream of. I also have not owned or run any other companies into the ground which is complete slander. So who ever told you that is either jealous of me or doesnt know me at all. This review is a perfect example of what makes me know that the decision to sell was the right thing to do because clients like you that come out talk about things that are un true and have no clue whatsoever of what they are talking about. What you didnt mention is that the Ac I installed for you retails for over seven thousand dollars and that company scammed you and re installed it somewhere else. And dont forget to mention the continued deals and discounts I gave you over the years or the complementary home show tickets that were provided to you whenever you asked. My company was voted third best new business in all of *******, nine times for best sales and service, four times nominated as the ****************, nominated twice best ethics in business by my peers and so on and so forth. I had an A+ with renovation find in every category for many years and also had an A+ with the BBB until I refused to respond to clients complaint who was a racist and the other complaint of a grown man that wanted everything for free and I wouldnt give in. The BBB did nothing about it and is unfortunately supporting a racist and grown man that is a baby because he didnt get his own way. Once I refused to respond and told the BBB I would not renew my membership if they were not handled they dropped me from an A+ for many years to an F over night. You are also complaining to an organization that has a 2.5 star rating based on their terrible ethics. Businesses get bought and sold every day and I dont need to explain myself to you or anyone else. The company you hired scammed you and thats on you for not handling your business properly. Ive always treated you and your husband with respect and always answered your calls and you have the nerve to slander me. Ill be sure to let my legal team moving forward handle this from here on in. Go call your scam company and complain.
