I contacted *********************** (Bedrock Contracting Canada) to develop an external entrance and a legal suite basement located at ************************************************. We agreed and signed a contract on May *** that it will take * months to complete the project. I made initial payment of $****** CAD which I transferred separately via email transfer on ***, *** and **** May with the agreement that more money will be released as job progress, but no meaningful progress was made. He managed to build a retaining wall and ended up making a mistake. He called me and explained that he was sorry that he would demolish the wall and rebuild it. Another payment of $****, $*** and $****** were made in August. A total of $******* has been given to him. Since May ***, no aspects of the jobs done so far have been successfully completed. Below is a list of the incomplete jobs with pictures attached. 1.***************** has not been properly framed and sealed 2.Basement framing is not complete 3.The retaining walls were not straight and stairs were poorly done. The wood and steel bolt used for forming stairs is still sticking out of the retaining walls.4.Furnace is still incomplete 5.The window has not been framed properly from inside. On August ****, I sent him a message and also called him but he did not reply or call me back. I also messaged him on August **** to remind me that our contract would expire on September *** but he did not reply. I believe he has abandoned this project. Winter season is fast approaching and my basement is still not properly sealed from cold weather, especially the foundation. My backyard landscape was damaged during this construction and no attempt has been made to repair it. My deck rails were removed and still have not been installed. In summary, Bedrock Contracting Canada was so unprofessional regarding workplace safety; the quality of the incomplete jobs listed above is a serious safety hazard, below standard and poorly finished.
