On an occasion when we were involved in a sports event adjacent to this hotel we had booked an extra room for our friends directly through the front desk. At this time the second room that was for our friends did in fact receive breakfast vouchers. Keep in mind our first original room did not qualify for free breakfast and we fully understood that as we booked it through a 3rd party website. When our friends misplaced the breakfast vouchers we went to the desk to ask if they could be replaced. At that point we were lied to when they told us that those vouchers were already used and cashed in. They said they "counted them and know how many went out"The desk also tried to tell us we had "so many people in our rooms how would we even know" Well we would know because we only had 2 people in each room and they were our friends who slept in all day and didn't use the vouchers. We searched further and found the so called cashed in and counted breakfast tickets even though the desk insisted they were used. Fast forward 6 months later, we are attending another event in the vicinity and decided to give them another chance to redeem our bad experience. We booked through the front desk. They sent a cancellation email the next day without notice. They hung up on us when we called to ask why they cancelled our rooms without a phone call. That's right they booked us 3 rooms and then cancelled them all by sending an email. No phone call. No explanation. No redemption.
