12/23/22 batch #***, REF ******** Purchased lottery tickets and requested cash back. $20.00. It had Got busy around the till with people and did not receive my $20.00 from the merchant. Realized that I did not receive my money after I got home in the evening. Tried to call merchant that evening and was not able to leave messages as mailbox was full. Called 12/24/22 at 10:47 am and again 12:49 pm, they did not look up my batch number that I provided and stated that they could not prove that they didnt give me my money. They stated that if it was over 24 hrs then they could not help me when it has been less than 24 hrs that this issue had occurred. I mentioned that their total for the evening would have been over and they said they were short. I had stated that if I was indeed calling I didnt receive the money. They said they were not willing to help out. That they do not have a policy in place to initial the receipt to prove the customer has received payment. I had advised that I would be filing a better business complaint.Business response
