Me my and my kid stayed in the motel Oct. 24, 2022 night, i was collected damage deposit of C$100 and as of now they havent returned it yet! Theres now way to contact them, no email landline is not working. I want my money backInitial Complaint

Date of the transaction:16th July 2022 The amount of money you paid $526.26 What the business committed to provide you:A room that was acceptable to sleep in. Going by the pictures on the website, that seemed to be the case however, what I witnessed was a complete disgrace.Nature of the dispute is:On the day in question myself, my girlfriend and my mother and father was travelling to ******* for the Stampede. We called **************************** to say we would be checking in after the ********.Once we arrived, something seemed to be off from the very beginning. The member receptionist was not attentive and almost seemed annoyed that we where there. We, unfortunately already had the payment prepaid and was shown where our room was. On route to the room, we could tell that this business was terrible. There was dirt, garbage, paint, fluids and sticky residues everywhere to name a few things. The stairs to the 2nd floor to our room number 52, felt like they where going to collapse. Walking towards our room I honestly couldn't believe how terrible this place was. Once at the room door, we where immediately hit with the smell of damp and urine. There is what appeared to be blood on the entrance door. There was pubic hairs in the bathtub, the floors were sticky with vomit and urine. The ** in the room was not working, with used tissues sitting on top of it. There was holes and stains on the blankets and the sink in the bathroom was falling apart to name a few. It was a complete disgrace and unhabitable for even one night. We called *********** and they assured us we would get our full refund after we showed them the photos. I have contacted *********** again as I have heard nothing from them.***** on the phone with *********** she tried to call the hotel. I was at reception at that time at the reception never once looked to help and ask if the phoneline was disconnected as the calls didnt go through. We had to spend the night in our car. I was so embarrassed &upset
