We hired highland moving to move us. We thought they were good considering the reviews. We have a 75 inch TV less than a year old and were concerned about it being moved so we declared it and they (Highland) suggested we purchase a $90 moving box from them to safely move it. The movers wrapped it in a blanket and put it in the box. It got to our new house discovered after they left it was not removed from the box that they brought it in and it was still wrapped in the moving blanket inside. When we opened it up we discovered it had been damaged during the move. We had Best Buy geek squad come and they confirmed it was physical damage not something wrong internally. Mover has sent us a letter stating it is not their responsibility and after assessing the weight of the tv they feel the value is ***** for cash settlement even though tv is less than a year old and it cuts us ******* As they state they have *** deductible they state they owe us nothing.Business response

This issue has been brought to our attention through other means. The file was escalated to ****************** and it was determined that there was a processing error on our part. We will be reaching out to our client directly with the aim of settling this issue.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: no one has reached out to me from the business. I got a letter from the company stating the weight of the ** amounted to just over $**.00 but since there is a $***.00 deductible they advise they owe us nothing for it.

We would ask that this rejection be revisited. The company has indeed been in touch with ******************, likely after the rejection was drafted, and we have having a meaningful dialogue. The company is honoring the damage claim amount as claimed, and has even waived our usual $*** deductible.Customer response
