I recently purchased a used car from Calgary Auto Quest. When I purchased there was a full mechanics check and it was all noted as good and roadworthy. 1 day after purchase the tray underneath fell off - I called them and as it was within 1 day, they replaced it. All good. It has now been 3 weeks and I brought it into Audi for a full inspection as I felt I couldnt trust the dealer and I have found the brakes are totally worn out they were at 3mm (noted as roadworthy and fine prior to purchase) and the rear shocks are totally rusted and swollen so they can break at anytime - they are critical, so definitely not roadworthy. It has cost me an additional ******** which if there was a level of transparency during the sale, I could have negotiated. I feel there has been a level of deceptive marketing/ false claims here which is unlawful. This business provided the mechanical check and signed off on it. So I want to be reimbursed for this. I paid $14,273.70 for the car to Calgary Auto Quest, they along with Limitless Tire were deceptive in their claims of cars roadworthy. Additional costs for brakes and rear shocks are $4000.00. I want this reimbursed. I will attach inspection report from Audi when it is available.I may get a lawyer involved with relation to this.
