I have been taking my car in for service at T and T honda regarding an issue with my push start. The problem with the push start started over 2 years ago. And every time I bring it in I was told by the service advisor that I have to replace the starter. Soo within the 2 years I have replaced the starter 3 times. Last September 2022. I brought my vehicle in with the same push start issue. Once again...they tell me I have to replace the starter. ***** did my own research to see how long a brand new starter should last. Turns out a new starter should last 4 to 5 years. This would be my 4th time replacing the starter in the span of 2 years. ***** told the service advisor I'm not paying for a new starter. And that They should look deeper into the problem or see what is causing the starter to go out. They did not service my vehicle at that time and told me they have to contact Honda ****** to see if they can pay for the service. I waited over a month. No updates. *** i sent them an email. A manager call me back and told me they were working on it. It's now December and still no updates. I think they just gave up on me. Just giving me the run around everytime I contact them. Or they don't want to service my vehicle. For the amount of money I spent on the starters I think they should find out the problem and be responsible to fix my car.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
The very first time I brought the vehicle in with the push start problem was back in 2014. A few months after I purchased the car. I was told it was equipped with an old battery.  Which confused me cause I purchased the car brand new. Why would you sell me a new car with an old battery.  ... several months later is when I had to replace the starter. And I had to replace it again before the year 2019. But I guess T and T honda only looked back as far as 2019 for service history. The vehicle had a push start problem from the day I purchased the vehicle.
      Sincerely,

Purchased a Honda from this dealership. The car was immaculate looking when purchased and delivered. After a couple of washes I begin to notice what looked to be surface rust by the rear wheel. When I wiped a cloth across the area I noticed what looked to be a colour matched product applied to this area, which exposed more clearly the extent of the rust. When I contacted the management of the dealership its was very exhaustive and meaningless. No resolution was reached. The vehicle was also supposed to have had an oil change. When the oil was checked by myself it was very dirty and low. The company did offer a complimentary oil change which I refused.

************ purchased a used 2015 Honda Fit with ******* km on it from T&T Honda on January 28th of 2022. On May 19th of this year ************ reached out to us to mention his concerns about rust he noticed on the car along his concern an oil change had not been done on his car before delivery.

The first thing we did was offer to have ************ come in to the store so we could do a complimentary oil change and ***** the rust he was talking about. Due to the age of the car and the fact this has come up five months after he took delivery of the vehicle, we wanted to inspect the damage before we commit to doing anything.  He refused the oil change and said due to how far he lived away coming into the store for us to look at the rust would be inconvenient. He was willing to send a picture of the rust he noticed. We offered to help him with any repairs he would want to do as we have many body shop connections. He again refused and said he would be reaching out to the BBB.

I am rejecting this response because:

I rejected the oil change because it was already rectified by myself. My concern was the rust. The only thing that was offered from TT Honda is they were going to give me their preferred shop, but the full repair cost would fall onto myself. The reason you go to a dealership especially the make of the cars dealership and pay the higher price and GST on a pre-owned vehicle is to avoid these sorts of things, since they should be the most knowledgeable on all areas of their vehicles and the deficiencies they may have. We agreed that I could send a picture in for their review and when I had to contact the dealership after not hearing from them for over a week I thought that they already made their decision. I found it was labouring to get any response from the correspondence I sent through. Also my biggest concern is the rust seemed to be covered up.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

************, if your concern is just the rust, we can help with that repair. I would need to have the car brought in and left at the dealership for a couple of days to get a body shop to assess the rust spot and give us repair options. The dealership would be willing to split the cost of any repair needed. Please let me know if you would like to move forward.
