This company is overbilling us for a diagnosis service for a hot water on demand system.They are charging for 3 hours of diagnostic time whereas the service provider stated within the first 5 minutes of arriving that he realized that the check value was the issue.Furthermore, my husband met with him and went to the basement with him at the outset and explained that he also thinks it is the check value, and that he had ordered the $8 replacement part for it already.It is unreasonable and unethical to charge a customer nearly $500 knowing well that it is not worth it to go through the warranty process to make a claim for an $8 part. We had paid this same company to do maintenance on this system about 6 months prior to this, and they failed to detect the worn part.Business response

our notes from our plumber on site differ from what **** is claiming and i have personally made multiple attempts to get ahold of her to discuss the issue and she wont return any calls or emails
