I purchased a backpack blower from them through an advert I found online. The ad states that gst is included. With everything online these days, they offered to email me the invoice. I accepted, so i did not see the invoice at the time of purchase. When I got home and checked my email I saw that they had charged me a sales tax on top of the gst included, as per their website. So I emailed and advised them of the mistake. ******************* responded that there was no mistake, the price had gone up and the price online was incorrect.I then asked do they not have to honor the advertised price. ***** then gave me the ** about them being a small business, they had adjusted the price 3 times already, then offered an instore credit.I told them that this was not acceptable. This is a shady business practice of overcharge and then try to make a customer a repeat customer via in store credit. I said I expected a refund of the tax $ that were charged on a unit that was advertised as gst included. ***** appollogized and said that was not his intention. He would have his boss contact me. The next day I recieved a call from a fellow that introduced himself as ****, a part owner. He ask me what my concern was, so I explained. He appollogized for the incorrect info on the old website. I replied with, Old? Don't you mean only and the website states "All rights reserved 2022" so how old can it be? He did not respond to that but did reply that they would have ***** call me back with the amount that would be credited back onto my credit card. I received a call a little later and they said they would give me the refund for the error that was caused by the faulty display but their terminal is too old and they could not provide refund back onto the CC so I would have to go back to their store to collect the refund. He then offered to provide the refund via email transfer. I still have yet not received the refund.Every item that is shown on their website states gst incl...
