I purchased a 3 ton ***** air conditioner from Western Sky Mechanical Ltd for $3,616.20 which was installed on March 29, 2017. The agreements included a 10 year labour warranty and a 10 year service plan with the seller who is an authorized installer for *************** The seller performed A/C tune-up for the first two years only in 2018 and 2019 without charge based on the 10 year free service plan. No tune-up was done in 2020 due to the rampant and raging *****-19 and businesses across the country were lock-downed. This situation is understandable as government authorities were urging everyone to follow the strict health mandates put in place to avoid personal contacts. For 2021, I reached out to the company asking them to perform the tune-up under the agreed 10 year service plan. Discussions went back and forth as they refused to honour their agreement. No agreement was reached to end of 2021. For 2022, I contacted the company by emails and after numerous requests asking them to perform the service, they completely ignored my emails even to to date. This complaint is filed as the company failed to honour their written agreement to provide the 10 year service plan. It would be greatly appreciated if you can assist me to resolve this complaint by asking ********** to provide the remaining years of service to perform the annual tune-up by ANOTHER authorized installer other than Western Sky Mechanical. I do NOT trust Western Sky Mechanical at all as I have zero trust in them to properly perform the tune-up. They might deliberately damage or ruin my air condition unit.
