RE: BBB Complaint ID No. ********

      To whom it may concern,

This is in response to the complaint of ************** *********************. On August 5, 2022, we sold him the *** ****** **** as an in-house loan. Two weeks after the purchase of the truck, he decides to trade it for *** X5.He told me that he needs cash to pay his rent and some other bills. We came to an agreement that Country Auto Sales will lend him ****** **** *** *** *** ***** ********* *** ****.

Since he is an in-house customer, he is supposed to start the payment on September 1st.But he missed his first payment and he called to see if we can postpone until the following month which we agreed. Following two weeks, he had come to the shop and ask for some service work, I had told him to come in and we will take care of it. Mean time, he took the car for trade-in at another used car company. When the lien was checked, they found out that the *** had a lien from us, Country Auto Sales. It is our companys policy to have lien on every in-house customer until they fully paid the loan.

Then, he came to our shop again and wanted to return the ***, we had agreed to do so, and he was given the buy-out deal that is made of the $***** lent money, fees, and interest.

We are now working with him to come to the final agreement.

We have no idea what else for us to do in this matter. Looking forward to future resolution.

      Thank you in advance.

      Sincerely,

      Country Auto Sales & Service

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: we said yes I have no problem with the loan and I will attach what the insurance cost was to get the *** off the lot and I just wanted my Range Rover back. I went there with a mint vehicle put my time and money into the first vehicle which included oil change because it was dry on the dip stick. Filter included of course. Fuel filter thru if to get it to get the diesel to run. Had to buy a programmer because it kept going into limp mode. ****** flush and new. Bought used tires because they were bald the ones it came with. Stereo because it didnt have one I found trim and mouldings in the engine. New wiper line because it was missing and thats just the first vehicle. Then the *** I had it it ran great for the test drive but unfortunately its brakes went and I went numerous times to get it checked and fix but the first time it was the long weekend two other times *** wasnt there, I left a message with the secretary because they have sheets for messages. I talked to **** the other salesman. Then *** went away for awhile and this whole time I didnt have anything to drive so had to take cabs to my doctors etc. if I just wouldve been given my vehicle back Id owe both and I  will provide the insurance receipt showing thats why I had to get the loan. I didnt want any loan or another vehicle. Mine is a 2012 Range Rover spot with ******kms less than $5000 on the carfax. I had to take a 2010 *** x5 with ****** kms on it. And it turned out to be a salvage vehicle. Obviously I didnt want it but they wouldnt give me any my vehicle back and kept saying what about this or this. And telling me I dont want mine. Yes I did. Im on disability and had no payments now I no vehicle still and owe a bunch of money for driving to not road worthy vehicles

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I, ***, and ***** have an agreement that we have no problem giving his Land Rover back if he pays us the buy-out deal of $******** that is made up of the $***** lent money, $***** cost of warranty, and other fees incurred. We realized that ************** has an impulsive buying behaviour, and we no longer want to be financing him anymore. We talked and we had this verbal agreement when we met last October 24th, Monday. Attached in this email are the *** deal documents made with **************. Thank you and apologies for the late response.

      Sincerely,
      ****** "***" *****
