I bought a windshield on September 11, 2021. It cracked on October 14, 2021. I took it to Cal Alta that day. They said it was chipped and they will not cover it under warranty. I took it to another shop today ********** ********. He said it was a pressure crack on the inside of the glass not a chip on the outside. It cost me $200 for a new windshield that should have been covered under warranty by Cal AltaBusiness response

Hello, first of all this is my proper email address *********************************************************. I am sorry but I never received your messages. I have personally looked at the pictures the customer provided and I have shown this to the shop *******. We both agree that this is not a pressure break. There is definitely marks from a rock or an object that hit this windshield. A pressure break normally is just a crack without any impact and he has some impact marks. Complaint: ********I am rejecting this response because:
When I took the car to Cal Alta I told them nothing hit the window there was just a loud pop. They looked at it for 10 seconds and declared that something hit it. They didn't even touch the window or even go inside the car to look at it better. There was no damage on the outside of the windshield. When I took to ********** ******** they inspected it closely and touched it and inspected the windshield from the inside. ******* ********************* ** ********** ******* *** ** **** ******* ** *****

Hello. I am at the south location and your name is not in our files. Unless your name is spelled wrong in the computer. I have no record. We do cover ALL pressure breaks but your windshield did not break from pressure. You have been hit by a rock. I have no reason to lie whatsoever.Customer response
