I took my car into a service center to get my struts fixed. I was quoted $1,800, because I couldn't afford it. I was given a link to Driver Capital and they pre-approved me for $3,600. This was the last time I heard about this loan, until 3 months later when Driver Capital sent me a copy of the loan agreement with my payment schedule. The lady at the service center had tricked me into signing for some parts ( sway bar links) to finish off my struts. This is when I found out my sway bar links was actually a GPS. 3 days later was when I got an email that the loan had started. I had given Driver Capital a call immediately when I found out the service center charged me $1,400 more than what my quote was. I tried for the next 3 months, begging them to look into this that I knew nothing about the loan starting, I did not sign any loan papers. It fell on deaf ears. Dozen of emails were sent, plus phone calls. I had given Driver Capital all the parts of the contract that were broken, including the ones they broke themselves. I told Driver Capital I wasn't trying to get out of the loan, get the video and that would end all discussion. I never saw nor signed, any loan papers. I told them I was going to stop making payments until someone looked into it, but was told my Audi A3 I had just bought could be siezed. The service center told them they had video evidence of me signing this loan. I told Driver Capital that's great news, get that copy of the the video and it would prove that I was signing for parts, not the loan, because the service center took the signature, that I was told I was signing for parts, and put it on the loan papers instead. I believe Driver Capital, and the service centers, have quite the business going. Driver capital does not care about its clients, by clients, I mean the ones paying the money back. I had to get my struts finished by somebody else. They care only about getting the money, not how they get it. Still don't have physical copy of contract!!!

I have contacted Driver Captial for a loan payout amount for $7600 loan which was incurred in December 2022 and they wanted $8,000+ to pay out. it is my understanding that you cannot charge in excess of 32% including interest and fees. Further my name is on the loan agreement and i did not sign the agreement. my son who is the purchaser of the vehicle signed the agreement and someone from Driver Capital signed my name on the loan agreement. I want a reasonable payout amount on this loan without all the ridiculous admin fee’s and charges. i already made 6 payment of $355 or $434 on the loan pay out should not be $8,000 which is more than the initial loan amount. i am requesting a payout less the payments and I will payout this loan agreement. i believe it is not their intent to have this loan paid out and to charge all kinds of outrageous charges to make It impossible in hopes of getting to seize the vehicle. i submitted a proposal as follows: you want this loan paid off work with me to provide me with a reasonable payout amount to avoid any future problems. I am prepared to pay out an amount of $6,381.90 which is the amount borrowed $7685.24 + $1226.37 interest/admin charges included less the $2,529.71 in payments to date. You take back the gps unit.
