This is the second complaint I'm filing same owner same thing as my 2009 Toyota Tacoma broke down again. Took it to Tichi Auto on October 11, 2022 to have my engine replaced under warranty. 3 months later I picked up my truck on January 16, 2023. I requested a copy of my warranty and repairs that were done to my truck and up to date maintenance needed to be done to my engine. **** (owner) has avoided to provide me with the invoice. I made several calls to him and keeps giving me excuses.Initial Complaint

I took my vehicle into this auto repair shop. Dropped it off at 8am on Sept 02, 2022 to have my windshield replaced. I went back to said auto shop to pick up my vehicle at 4:45 pm and they informed me that my car was not there. It was getting a windshield replaced else where. Off of the property I dropped it off at. They informed me that while they replaced the windshield the glass cracked so they had to reinstall a new one. No one informed me that my car was going to be taken off the lot of the auto repair shop. I didn’t sign any contract or anything stating any of this. What if whomever is driving my car gets into a car accident. Gets a speeding ticket. Goes and commits a crime while driving my vehicle ? At no time during the day did they inform me that they were going to be driving my vehicle around the city of Edmonton. He quoted me at $850.00 for this repair. And it’s not even there.Initial Complaint

On June 8, 2021 I gave **** ******* $8,400 for a new engine on my 2009 ****** ****** ** 4.0L and another $1600 when done. On July 21, 2021 When I picked up my truck the check engine light was on after I left phoned **** to complain. Told me not to worry just come in when you reach 500km for oil change. Then on July 23, 2021 my truck broke down called **** and my fan belt broke and paid $100 for towing. Same day my check engine light was on called him to complain. Then on Sept 25,2021 truck broke down and paid $109.20 for towing. On Sept 27, 2021 I went to his shop to complain and he told me hes busy he will let me know what wrong with it.
