We are still running a small business (est. 2003) during COVID. Our Allstream business phone invoice ******** (Account *******) has an extra charge of $3.52 on it for "Partial Month Charges Subtotal". We want this charge and applicable tax removed. The description of it below says "Partial month charges appear on your invoice when your service is initiated or when new services are added in the middle of a billing cycle. These charges begin the date your new service started and run up to the date your recurring monthly charges begin." Our service was initiated years ago, so it is not new. We did not request or receive any new phone services. Allstream customer service insists that it is a valid charge - actually for Allstream's new billing system - and will not remove it. Allstream already charges us an extra $9.95 per month for an "Account fee", so what is the "Account fee" for? The cost of this phone service just keeps increasing and this recent experience does not make me feel valued as a customer. We have been a customer since about 2009. If Allstream insists on charging us $3.52 on top of our regular bill (the regular amount has already been paid), then we are ready to terminate the service and we will require Allstream to do this for free, without any more charges.Customer response

Allstream Business Inc. says they will credit the $3.52 that was incorrectly billed to us. The company has offered a discounted rate for a year.
