Worst business ever! I bought a car from them and I specifically wanted a good vehicle with no issues for my wife. They sold me a car with no oil in the front diff and the bearings piled up on me a month after purchasing it as well as the catalytic converter was cut off and straight piped. They took it to their mechanic shop for an ***** inspection, they signed off on the diff as being good and no other issues. My check engine light came on so I took it to *** to have their mechanic inspect it to find out that it's not drivable. New front diff is $5000 and a catalytic converter is $4500. Cars for less told me it's not their problem and not responsible for mechanical problems. I guess you can sell a vehicle with a carfax and even after an inspection, still get taken for a ride. They also said that I couldn't drive the car if the diff was that bad. Well, it holds a liter of oil and there was no oil on their showroom floor where the car sat or in my garage where we kept it, that tells me it was completely dry before I even bought it. They said they fixed an issue that caused the check engine light to be on upon original inspection, and after a month it came back on for some reason as a P0420 ... catalytic converter below threshold. I see why now, since it didn't have one. I would not subject anybody to this!! Why sell someone a vehicle that needs so much work when I specifically wanted a good vehicle. It wasn't a cheap vehicle, Only had 110k on it .thanks for nothing, Cars near cost!

At The Cars Near Cost Company we provide all of our customers with the piece of mind of a 30 day exchange and the option to purchase an extended warranty to assist with any future issues with the vehicle. We will also extend goodwill to customers in certain situations. In this instance, the customer took the vehicle to another shop where work was sold. We were not able to verify the work was needed because we were not given an opportunity to correct the problem the customer identified. The customer also declined the extended warranty which would have surely assisted in any repairs required. We need to be given the opportunity to assist, not just given a bill and told we need to pay for repairs without the opportunity to verify the concern.
