I put a $ 500 refundable deposit on a vehicle. We did not proceed with the purchase. It has been over a month and I am being given the run around and still have not had my deposit returned. I find the people that I have been dealing with at this dealership to be very unprofessional.Initial Complaint

I was considering purchasing a vehicle from Sundance Mazda and the sales person told me to put a $500 deposit to hold the car because they claimed it was the only one. I asked repeatedly, as did my daughter, if the deposit was fully refundable. The assured me and my daughter, repeatedly, that it was fully refundable. I went to purchase the vehicle and the payment they told me was actually a bi-weekly payment, not a monthly payment like they said so, since that payment would be too high, I said I would not be purchasing the vehicle. When I asked about my deposit, they said they weren't sure they could refund me. They made me wait two days and then told me they would not give me back my deposit. This is absolutely unacceptable because I asked repeatedly if it was refundable. Can somebody please help me resolve this issue? Please note, they made me initial a form to when I left the deposit, that's why my daughter kept asking if the deposit was fully refundable, now they say because I signed the form it is not refundable. They explained the form was only to hold the vehicle. My daughter is a witness to all of this, even in the dealership when they were dishonest about the monthly payment.
