I went to Toyota WEM last December 2021 to check on the price and inventory of Toyota Sienna 2022. I was able to spoke with a product advisor **** ******* and he made the quotation for Toyota Sienna LE for $42,085 base price and $48,123.79 all in.(taxes, freight cost, dealer fees, etc). Considering that reasonable price, I asked him to order a unit for me and then he gave me an estimate when the unit may arrive to Toyota WEM from the manufacturer. So on June 2022, **** phone me and said that the unit has already an ETA. When the unit already arrived after several months of waiting, **** phone me again and he said that I have to deal with his finance manager ******* ******* about the payments and other details of the vehicle. I went to Toyota WEM last July 7, 2022 to meet with ******* ******* to discuss about the financing options. He made the sales invoice and I was surprised when the basic vehicle price of the Toyota Sienna turned out to be $51700. I asked for the breakdown and he just said that the freight cost and other fees were included and also I have to pay for the advance interest to *** so just in case I have decided to pay the vehicle in full, then *** will have some profit. I ended up paying to the tune of $59970 including the protection package, extended warranty, GST and other fees. I only opted for Sienna LE because I cant afford the higher variant and I ended up paying close to the top of the line Toyota Sienna. This is my first time to buy a brand new vehicle so I got really confused and ignorant. Therefore, I just need to believe whatever ******* ******* was telling about the details of the price. I came back to Toyota WEM last October 2022 because I wanted to inquire on Toyota Corolla hybrid. Then I spoke to one Filipino advisor and he make me a quotation. For some reason, I also asked for another quotation for Toyota Sienna LE and the price that he showed me was way lower compare to what I actually signed on the bill of sale made by ******* *******. I went to *** meadowlark to inquire if the bank is charging advance interest for car loan and they said no. I was in shocked when I realized that ******* ******* defrauded me by injecting roughly $7500 on the price of my Toyota Sienna. I ordered the vehicle and waited close to 8months so its not fair and it is grossly unethical that he injected $7500 to the msrp of the vehicle. One of the Filipino advisors made an arrangement for me to meet up Manager **** ***** so we can talk about what happened. I told the story to **** and he was surprise because no matter how he calculated the sales invoice, there was a big discrepancy on the price. He ended up offering me a $2000 discount if I purchase a toyota corolla and on top of that he will give me a family pass at WEM that is good for one year worth $1500 just to compensate for what ******* ******* did to me. I checked on AMVIC portal and you can find there that it is illegal in Alberta to charge more than the advertised all in pricing of a certain vehicle. It is very clear that they added extra on top of what was quoted to me based on the bill of sale of the vehicle and the advertised price on toyota wem website. I hope that you will give some time to check on this matter. I know that there is a shortage of vehicles thats why I did the process of ordering to the manufacturer and waiting in line for several months so I wouldn't need to pay extra 10-20percent on top of msrp.
