I contacted excel insurance to cancel my policy and change the banking information on May 31,2023. I Was informed i would get a letter from the insurance company as to how much I owed and that not to worry all future payments would come from my personal account, instead of the account it was originally setup with. I had given them my personal account information for the payment to come through. I called excel a week later and told them I haven't received any correspondence yet. 3 weeks later I received a bill for more money than what I was told. I find out hey tried taking the money from my closed business bank account and I got 4 NSF fees of $45 totalling $180 from my bank plus the insurance company has also charged me an nsf fee of $80. My last payment was only $170.53 which was in my personal account. I have asked excel insurance to cover the nsf as they has taken it from the wrong account. Was told that they would not cover any nsf fees even though it was clearly their issue as I had given updated banking information.
