I booked a hotel stay at Holiday Inn, once I booked by stay they let me know about an offer that I said I would listen too. I agreed to the offer before I was sent any information. Once I was sent the confirmation I immediately tried to dispute it as it was not exactly what they stated over the phone. They pretty much mislead me about what they were trying to sell me. They also charged me in a different currency than I expected. They were not forthcoming with all the information and I feel they coersed me. I am still trying to dispute the transaction but it is proving to be difficult. I don't want this to happen to anyone else as I feel they are stealing my money. They are saying I agreed to all the terms and conditions even though it was all over the phone and I wasn't sent the terms until afterwards. I feel like these large corporations have all these legal terms set so that they don't have to take responsibility when they scam innocent people. I 100% feel that this is a scam, and as it's a large corporation people will just pay the money instead of dealing with the hassle to dispute.Initial Complaint

Transaction date was December 23 2021 Amount paid was 216.68 We got a hotel room at this hotel for the night of the 22nd. Room *** Before even checking out we filed a complaint due to the poor conditions of the 'suite' the shower flooded the bathroom any time it was turned on.. the screen door was hanging off the balcony.. the floors where separating and dangerous to walk on.. the blankets were not the right size for the bed and continuously came off throughout the night.. the jacuzzi tub faucets were detached and dangling from the tub and leaked the floor whenever the water was turned on.. the jets pointed all the way down and the tub filled still caused the jets to spray all over the bed and when we asked for new blankets due to them being wet we were told we could not have anymore.. half of the suite was unusable due to their being not a single light or lamp to use.. the staff was extremely rude when we were telling them the issues we encountered.. we asked for a refund and they guaranteed a refund but then canceled it after we got off the phone.. I tried calling multiple times to resolve the issue and was threatened with being charged again and with not getting any refund.. we were then offered a partial refund but again they have canceled it once we get off the telephone. The hotel supervisor was very rude to my wife and would not speak to her about the issue even though it was through her credit card.
