I paid a deposit of $15608.06 on January 24th, 2022, and my mother in law, ******** ********* paid a deposit of $10,463.23, towards a solar install by Kite Electric. We were told the materials were purchased and being held in storage to await installation in the Spring of 2022. Spring came and went and we've heard nothing from Kite Electric. I haven't heard anything from ***** ***********, the *****, since May 12th, 2022. Emails and text messages have been sent with no replies and phone calls are either unanswered and other phone numbers have been disconnected. It appears as though Kite Electric has folded and ***** *********** is no longer associated with the parent company (****** **********) of Kite Electric as per his Linkedin page: ****************************************************. I've heard from a a former employee the contracts were to be taken over by "****** **********" in May 2022 and I've heard nothing from them. The website for ****** ********** no longer exists, they don't answer messages on social media or by email and their phone numbers are disconnected.
