If you want to pay top dollar for scabby work, then call abalone! We had a foundation crack repaired(or thats what we thought) back in 2016, fast forward to today, and the crack they supposedly repaired is back. When I called abalone about their lifetime warranty, we got nothing but multiple excuses to why abalone is not responsible for the crack that has reappeared, that they originally were suppose to fix! After talking to the general manager, who basically just brushed me off as well, asked me if any water was coming in, I said no. not yet, but I dont want to wait for that to happen!! I was then told by the general manager that they would send someone out sometime to fill it with some caulking, but that there will be no invoice made up, as well that it wouldnt be a top priority, and that someone would come by when they had time. Of course since then nobody from abalone has had time to do anything about their scabby work that I paid over $3000 to do! And now I have the problem of finding a real professional/contractor to fix the problem! I have already asked multiple contractors to fix abalones sketch work, which all are refusing, because nobody wants to be held liable for abalones great job!!

Hi *****,I spoke with *************************** on Monday April 18 about his concern. At that time ********************** sent a picture of one of the two repaired areas. In the picture the above ground portion of the repaired crack appears to have reopened that is typically caulked above grade. I explained to ******************** that this can sometimes happen if a house shifts or moves over the years as the repair was completed in 2016 and isn't leaking at this time. I mentioned to ***** that we use an Elastomeric waterproofing below grade, however we do not apply our black flexible waterproofing above grade as it is very unsightly when above grade. I indicated to ******************** that we would send out a technician one day this week to address this crack but couldn't be specific on what day as I am out of the office.A repair technician was sent today, Thursday April 21st to patch the above grade area. We apologize for the delay and will stand by our Warranty for years to come.

Isnt it ironic that someone was sent soon after a complaint was made?? But anyways, yes, a highly skilled technician was sent, and filled the cracks with caulking..Yes a quick bandaid fix, that my 14 year old could have easily done! But not to worry I have since had to pay approximately $400 to hire a contractor that actually fixed the problem, by using actual wire mesh, and cement! Now the eyesore is gone, and the crack has been properly repaired!
