October 2020, put a $2500 cash deposit down for a hot tub we were told our new tub would be manufactured and delivered in February of 2021. Had an electrician come and install the required power cord/breaker box/plugs etc. costing an additional $1200. Many calls were made and constantly given a fabricated story. When calling the company now and asking how long the turn around time is for a new tub, it is 3-4 months exactly what we were told when we first put our $2500 deposit down and which is why we went with this company. Went in person and met with deflection and excuses, it is November 2023 and we have yet to receive our money back or our product. As a business owner I’m disgusted how this company treats people, they are liars, thieves and a group of **** *******.Initial Complaint

We paid a deposit of $2500 to Sun Ray Spas on January 23, 2022 for a hot tub to be manufactured and delivered in 6-8 months or less. It is May 26, 2023 and we are still waiting with no delivery date. We would like our hot tub or our deposit returned. *** ******* ****** ** ******Initial Complaint

In January 2022 I had made the decision to buy a hot tub for my home. I went with Sun Ray Spas and was told about a four month timeline to receive my brand new tub. Over the last year I was given multiple stories and timelines. Most of them were regarding the manufacturer and that they were behind. I've since learned that there are multiple buyers who have been getting the same line of reasoning for not receiving their product. This after paying a deposit of $3000. I went into the business multiple times to check in and see about my hot tub. I was frequently met by staff at the shop who were disrespectful, dismissive and did not try to come forward with any solutions. When asked why the business continues to take orders and deposits despite being behind and incapable of delivering the product, they have no answer. Eventually after almost a year of waiting and seeing multiple experiences such as mine on this website I decided to ask for my deposit back. Sun Ray spas was unwilling to do this despite not having my hot tub. They suggested I come in and buy patio furniture. Why would I make a purchase from a business that I am not happy with. This business has done nothing to rectify the problem for me and many others, why should they gain our business? I'm working with my credit card company to recover my deposit. I've never heard from Sun Ray spas since rescinding my order. They have zero interest in pleasing their customers. As I do the math on all the deposits they have potentially taken from hard working families I'm appalled that they are not being investigated for fraud and shut down immediately. I hope this business will be looked into and hopefully not continue to be permitted to conduct business and steal from families.Initial Complaint

Sales Agreement Invoice Number *****. Nov 04, 2020. Purchase of Hot Tub. Delivery 4-6 months. no product received. $2500 deposit. They have not tried to resolve the problem. Never contacted us. We reach out and they continually give bogus excuses and bogus timelines. We want product or refund now. They refuse to refund. Each time we inquire they say it should be 3- 4 months from now. This has repeatedly been their answer since Spring of 2021.
