i had 1 insurance claim in 2020 and one in 2021 on my rental property insurance premium. the second claim was mismanaged by the insurance adjuster(s). and now it has come to light that all the paperwork has been mismanaged. i understand and agree with the liability questionaire that was sent out. but the insurance broker insisted on knowing how many people live in my property and when they are moving in and leaving. and threats of insurance cancelation have been made. when i finally got the time it turns out the insurance company (travelers Canada) actually just wants to know how many tenant changes their have been in the last 3 years. not how many occupants for each unit. which are very different questions. the insurance broker started a fight and refused to co operate. and now is refusing to return phone calls or e - mails. i believe it is a intentional action to void my insurance. as they demanded it needs to be filled out by may.1/2022 i submitted it all last week before apr.1 /2022. they are now refusing to pick up the phone or return e-mails at this point on apr.5/2022 i have no idea what else they might need moving forward as they do not return e-mails and have blocked my phone number. leibel insurance broker needs to return calls/e-mails so the issues can be dealt with professionally which has been in extremely short supply at their office the last several years. i have been told several time by one of their employees i am not a client of theirs. there is no supporting documents. they are refusing to reply to e-mails.
