This complaint applies to same person listed below, **** ******(broker for Insureline) **** *** ** * ***** *** *** **** ** *** **** ****** ****** ** ***** ***** We used him for first time for a full coverage policy on a brand new leased vehicle. Fast forward to a few months later, the vehicle was involved in an accident and we were told by our insurance company that we did not have car rental coverage. This is not possible as we’ve always made sure to have this sort of coverage. Not to mention, it’s a full coverage policy and I was told by another broker and that rental car coverage is always added without even asking customer and a conversation would of had to been had if this was something we were declining. I brought this to ****’s attention and told him I would like the recorded phone call in which this coverage was supposedly “denied” and after a couple weeks and numerous messages, he finally gets back to us stating that there was no rental car coverage and that he was not able to provide proof of it. I’ve contacted head office to have this investigated as there should of been no problem in providing said phone call recording. This makes me believe that it was a mistake on his part and he is just trying to cover his butt. This mistake and unprofessionalism has resulted in us paying out of pocket for a rental car as the vehicle repair is going on two months now. Please stay far away from this broker who has a history of unethical practices. People like this should have their licenses revoked.
