Wasn't happy with this site. Charged me for something I didn't want. Just wanted to look at their site and wound up paying for a monthly subscription of $33 which I had no intention of doing. Just because I didn't cancel within 7 days. It should be 7 days free and apply if I want more. Just seems a bit wrong. When I talked with them about the monthly charge they were very rude and refused to credit the money back to my account. I only requested a courtesy refund. Be careful.LegalContracts.com Response

Hello ****,Thank you for your feedback. Our records show, you signed up for our 7-day Free Trial Subscription on February 6, 2024, 02:23 PM ET, and have access to a Loan Agreement document. Since no cancellation was on file within the trial period, a monthly subscription began. Our charges are based on a monthly subscription rather than individual user activities or usage. If you didn't cancel the subscription within the trial period, the charges will continue until you cancel it. I assure you that we provide the pricing, trial, and renewal information on our site and to you through emails. The first email was dispatched on the trial start day, February 6, 2024, 02:23 PM ET. In this order confirmation email, we reminded you that once your free trial is complete, we'll conveniently renew your plan. The subscription automatically renews in one week on February 13, 2024, 02:23 PM ET, for $33.00 per month. We also provide the instructions and link in the email so you can manage your subscription anytime. The second email was sent on Feb 14, 2024, 03:27 PM ET, specifically concerning your membership. Please stay away from LegalContracts.com. After reading some reviews, the company is taking advantage of people with terrible communication about the free subscription. My husband and I are senior citizens who depend on clear communication regarding free trials, automatic renewals, etc. Yes, it was our fault for not catching the fact we were getting billed $33.00 each month with absolutely no usage. My husband signed up for the *free* trial, produced one document which was subpar, and didn't realize the charges were coming. Horrible customer service.LegalContracts.com Response

Hello ***,We have conducted an investigation regarding your review. We appreciate that you are aware of what you signed up for and agree to the Terms and Conditions. I am sorry if you think that our document is subpar. Our form templates and software are drafted and revised by our in-house legal department and we service worldwide. The documents are generated based on the answers you enter. Once completed, it is a legal document. The answers you select and how you edit the document can potentially affect whether the form is legally enforceable and valid. So maybe check the details of your answers and see if you have entered some information that has made the document subpar.Regarding the fees, it is not based on usage. The subscription automatically renews to a monthly service if you do not cancel the free trial before it expires as you had agreed upon when you signed up for the service. This was clearly stated on the site twice, and we also sent you emails regarding your subscription. Unfortunately, since the cancellation of your monthly subscription was just after two years from your initial sign-up, no refunds will be processed. We understand this may be frustrating, but our charges show on your bank statement which should have prompted you to give us a call right away to let us know that you will not continue the service. We appreciate you leaving us a review, and thank you for using LegalContracts.com for your legal document needs.Regards, Divine Customer SupportReview from Darlene B

I have been using the leases on the site and just recently had a problem with a tenant so I need to file court papers to start an action and I was told by my attorney that the lease was not written properly. When I questioned the company about it I was told by the agent assigned to help me. I was instructed to forward this information to you from our Legal Team. I writing to hopefully keep others from making the same mistake I made. I was selling a boat and saw the bill of sale form on LegalContracts.com. Decided to use the free trial and print the form. Unknowingly, I was charged ***** every month from that point forward. Since October of last year. Apparently once you utilize one of their forms the meter starts running until you officially cancel the account. Foolish me for not seeing the charge on my **** bill earlier. Im sure somewhere their print says this will happen. Im also sure this is very Effective way to generate revenue from unexpecting consumers like myself. Just look at other reviews and you will see a common thread! DEAL with this company at your own risk!!LegalContracts.com Response

Hello ****,I am sorry for your frustration. Looking at your records, you initially signed up for a 7-day Free Trial subscription. As the website states, Free for seven days and renews for a monthly fee of $33.00 if not cancelled within the week of free service. Since you failed to cancel the subscription within seven days of the Free Trial and only cancelled after 13 months of active service, therefore, the charges are on your card. A courtesy $33.00 refund has been approved and will post back to your account in 5 business days. Please check your email for confirmation.Regards,Divine Customer SupportReview from Wayne N

I paid $39,55 in April. I emailed the document to the other party this document which showed a bad form template. i than mailed the hard copy to the party, The other party took it to her lawyer and that Lawyer said this isnt a proper legal document. Alos that this level of document would never stand up on court as a document (separation agreement) of this level must be higher than a Notary Public. I wanted a refund to the original $ *****. First... I was told by the manager of this company that is too much time had past to get a refund...than i was told that it is a legal document and that i needed to get all the reasons why it was refused by a Lawyer, Which i did,,,i than called this managerand told thm the reason why it was refused. They refused to give me a refund on a product which i can not use. Although this Manager stated a few times that THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT, which obviously they do not, Since i cant use it and have to pay for a lawyer to draw up up another document,LegalContracts.com Response

Dreadful company. I too got suckered into paying a month's subscription after my trial auto-renewed. Trust me, I know, it was my fault. I have had this happen with several other companies in the past. I have not yet had a single company tell me, "Too bad. You read the terms." All have offered a one-time grace refund, because they understand how easy it is to accidentally pay for a subscription you don't want, as that's exactly what they take advantage of with auto-renew. LegalContracts.com refused that and was quite rude about the fact that canceling was my responsibility after I politely asked for an exception and expressed that I was disappointed in their lack of customer-friendliness. It's one thing to hold to policy, and another to be rude about it. It says everything about how this company operates; I'm sure their poor service is reflected internally. They don't deserve your money. Don't support them.LegalContracts.com Response

Hello Rachel, I am sorry to hear your frustration. I understand how frustrating it is to miss some information about online subscriptions. I did a little research and found out that you had gone past the 7 days Free Trial Subscription which we require a cancellation within the 7 days of Free Service. As the website states, your subscription renews automatically 1 week after Free Trial ends. Your subscription was only cancelled one week later after your Free Trial week ended. Since it was not cancelled within the Free Trial week, therefore the charge is on your card. We have posted the information twice on the site, we also sent you multiple emails regarding your account. All information was given so you would have a complete understanding of the service you signed up for and agreed upon. A $33.00 courtesy refund has been approved and will post back to your account in 5 business days. Please check your email for confirmation. We appreciate your feedback and we will continue to work on our site to improve all areas of service. Regards, Divine Customer SupportReview from Colin M
