On Monday March 14th 2022 i took my new F150 ford truck to Denny Andrews Service for a Warranty recall on loses underbody insulation and possible drive shaft damage. The truck was running perfectly and was as new with out a scratch. Once Denny Andrews examined the truck the ******* ******* ****** ***** advised me that they needed to order a new drive shaft. I asked her when i could expect this and was told she had no idea. I asked again as i wasn't satisfied with the answer and she told me no one had this information and one may not even be available. At this point i Told ****** i would take my vehicle home and she could call me when the parts came in knowing it could take 6 months or longer and i had just waited 4 months for a sensor. It was at this point ****** told me she was not going to allow me to take my vehicle and that the mechanic had deemed the drive shaft a safety concern. I explained to ****** this was my property, i owned the truck not Denny Andrews and what did she expect me to do leave my personal vehicle that i was paying $ 1250/Month for locked on Denny Andrews property for months . ****** told me that that was Fords Policy and if i had an issue with this i could call Customer service at Ford. This was handled terribly and she offered no options other than a rental car. Next i called Ford Canada customer service and Spoke to ******* on March 18th 2022 and ******* promptly told me that no such policy existed within Ford and that this was the Dealership doing this. She offered to call the Dealership but after a short conversation she called me back to tell me nothing she could do. I asked her to escalate this issue and was told she was the final word . My vehicle was illegally seized by Denny Andrews and not one person offered me any options . I had to fire Denny Andrews , tow the truck home at a cost of $250 only to find damage to the rear rim that ****** said was not done by the dealership but they failed to take pictures as per there policy .
