I purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram online from my workplace in Colville Lake NWT from Capital Jeep. I asked to have splash guards and side rails installed in vehicle and they were marked on Bill of Sake that I signed. I was never shown an inspection of truck as I just assumed a reputable dealership would not do one on vehicle prior to selling it. Day before I arrived to pick truck up they wanted $1300 for splash guards, side rails. I argued they should be included in financed price as in all my messages back and forth not once until day before pickup did salesman ****** advise me that service department wanted to be paid $1300 first. I finally gave up arguing as I had to leave with truck back to BC for family funeral arrangements. A half hour out of Edmonton when I turned in A/C it would not work, advised salesman by message and was told it probably just needed recharging and on my way back through Edmonton in a few weeks he would book it in for the repairs. Further on I pulled into a rest area and found one headlight out and prior ti having truck inspected for insurance I had to pay and replace headlight. When I did arrive back in Edmonton no appointment made for repair of A/C and service department said maybe later day it could be fit in, which resulted in me paying a hotel overnight. I argued back and forth throughout the day once service department said all 4 tires had to be replaced at my expense again. Service Manager did pull up the inspection report that showed tires failing the report at which time I explained I would never have agreed to buy vehicle if I was provided a copy of this report. Finance officer **** signed Bill of Sale with me but no inspection report provided. I asked dealership to take truck back and finance me into a new similar truck with close to same bi-weekly payments, was promised they would have something for me by end of July. Have not received anything from this dealership pertains to new truck.
