      On January 9th 2023, my business contacted Supreme Vac, along with several other companies, to get a quote regarding our shops sump pit. The pit wasn't full, but as new tenants to the building, we wanted to make sure it was cleared out. I'd initially asked ******* if he could give me a rough estimate while over the phone, and he informed me that because we didn't know the sump size he couldn't give me an estimate, but to just send him an email and they could have someone out today. (Few other places would have been a couple days) So I said "that's fantastic, thanks guys!" The guy came out, and did the job, and I again, asked what I owed him, and he said "Not my department" and then proceeded to request my signature for the "work order completion" At 1030 PM that evening, we recieved an email stating we owed them just over $1500. This came at quite a shock, since every other company was 500-700 for the building. They included that they have a 4 HR min, which could have been told to me over then phone, and including a $500 disposal fee that nobody else was charging. When I complained, they waited a week to respond, and ***** informed me that they are "competitively priced" which clearly, they are not, and said it was a rush service. (It wasn't, they had nobody else that day, I can see why) While I've taken time to respond to him instantly, he often waits a week or two to respond to us. I've agreed to pay for 50% of the bill, as this is partially my fault, for not putting my foot down about the quote, and also their fault for not informing us of the price until the service was complete, several hours later. They've contradicted themselves in their emails stating that it was a rush service, but we weren't charged as such. Nothing they say adds up, and our next step will be small claims. We just want half the payment back.

      This matter was resolved satisfactorily.  

      ******* ***** husband ** ******* called me I believe on Feb 7 and said he would now pay the invoice in full, by credit card.  Despite his offer to settle the invoice in full, I told him we would write down the $495 waste charge and he could then pay the original invoice less the $495 (plus GST on same) and he expressed thanks for this on behalf of their newly formed company.  

      ** seemed to better understand there is a difference in between a residential liquid waste septic pumping service (sometimes referred to as honey wagons) which they previously had for their residential acreage; and, a Department of Transport DOT rated vacuum truck service utilized for industrial cleaning and the proper handling and classifying of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, typically found in business commercial warehouse sumps (which is the service we provide).
