I took the truck in for repairs on a insurance claim through sgi for a new hood they did a good job on the paint. They also did a transmission swap from an auto to a manual transmission they also put new engine mounts in and a new oil pan gasket and some misc things. Once they were finished they called and said the truck was ready for pick up I asked if there was still a clunk in the driveline they said yes it was in the rear end so had to get the vehicle towed to a different shop where it was repaired. Once I picked it up from the other shop I had noticed that the unit was not reprogrammed like it was supposed to be big rig claims that they were locked out of the computer and could not do the reprogramming so once again had to take it to another since big rig said they were done with it that shop reprogramed the ecm they also had to rewire the transmission for the speedometer the cruise control the high idle to work but most importantly for the turbo to operate correctly. Not even 2 weeks later the bolts from the engine mounts snapped I called bug rig and they looked at it and claimed that to much torque was being transferred to the mounts causing them to break so no warranty is provided which I disagree with because the engine is still stock with the factory hp and torque settings. The bolts were most likely over tightend or there is something not right with the new Transmission install. I had also mentioned that the transmission doesn't seem to shift correctly and the responded that they have seen a few like that. They gave me an estimate on repairing the engine mounts once again for 500$ when the unit hasn't even been o the road for more then a months since it was repaired. There is also wires hanging all over and cut of that should if been dealt with bette On top of that I had them put 3m film o the front of the hood which is peeling off and they said that the sublet company who did it would warranty it but have not been in contact.
