I purchased a used ****** Frontier from Lethbridge Toyota in March 2023. After the sale I had the truck inspected at Stadium ****** in ******* and they found a safety few issues with the vehicle, including play in the lower-ball joints. After much back and forth with Lethbridge Toyota they had it inspected at Cochrane ******, and then replied saying they will fix the problems. In June 2023 they sent drivers to *******, picked up the vehicle, took it to their shop in Lethbridge and then notified me they were not going to do the repairs and returned the truck. They said the truck was fine. Recently I had the vehicle in for service in ******* in May 2024 and the mechanics said the lower-ball joints need to be replaced for safety. After Lethbridge looked at the vehicle in June 2023 I figured the truck was safe to drive. However, the mechanic at Joyride Automotive said otherwise, and the ball-joints wouldn't have become worn out as much as they are in the few KM's I have driven the truck. A full report including all emails between me and Lethbridge Toyota, and other mechanics are included as an attachment. I feel I was lied to by Lethbridge Toyota and they failed to properly inspect and repaired the vehicle, as 3 other mechanics have found. To have the lower ball joints replaced is about $1200.00.Business response

Once we received this complaint, we reached out to ******* to come to a solution. We requested an invoice for the completed repair of the ball joints and, once received, offered to cover 1/2 of the repair to the tune of $610. We send out our apologies for the inconvenience this process caused, and received a response from ******* that he was satisfied with this result.Customer response
