June 23, 2021 I contracted a paving company to pave my acreage driveway. initial contact was made by a flyer distributed by the company and when i called the phone number a man came and assessed the site and gave a quote, $23,000. They came that same day and did the paving. i was advised that there was a 5 year warranty to the work. During their progress, county officials came by and had disagreements with them about something. When they completed, i paid them for the invoice and they left. July 3 I called and left a message regarding water pooling on the asphalt that they had assured me would not happen. July 5, An employee (BR) called me back from an unknown number.July ********************************************************** the asphalt. It was apparent that ground prep was inadequate and there was minimal asphalt used. Finally the company said they were not able to return to repair the work due to the county prohibiting them from bringing their equipment on the roads here anymore. They sent a refund for $5000 to assist us in getting a local company to repair the damaged areas. This was not sufficient to correct the water pooling issue but it did patch the cracks.Unfortunately today May 30, 2022, the lack of ground preparation has not only caused more cracks but a full destruction of a 50 foot section of the driveways edge and a width of approx 2 feet. I have left a message on the answering service but as before the website is no longer active. I will attempt to send an email but I am hoping that you can assist me in getting compensated or even reimbursed for the work that now has to be redone. Any advise would be appreciated.
