I have had enough of the constant harassment from this company. I have been telling them that they have the wrong contact information for YEARS NOW! I have never been to Alberta nor have i owned a mitsubishi ever! Furthermore my name is NOT ********!!! I have threatened legal action MANY TIMES due to the ongoing harassment. They clearly do not seem to care. They claim they will delete the # & contact information but that is never the case. This NEEDS TO STOP!!!!Business response

Searched in our database and found the phone number ****** is saying is his is attached to another customer.
I deleted that phone number from our local Red Deer Mitsubishi database as well as sent an email to our entire data base development Team to ask them to remove any information relating to ****** ****** Our sincerest apologies. If ****** finds this happens again, please email the General Manager directly.

I have repeatedly asked this company to stop contacting me and delete my number from their system. They repeatedly say they will and I block the number they have contacted me from, but a week or two later they contact me again from a different employee cell phone number. **** ** *********** I have told them multiple times I will report them for harassment if they contact me again and they continue to do so. We purchased a vehicle from this company in 2014, in early 2020 we found out that the loan we had for that vehicle was a balloon loan and at the end of the term we would be required to pay a lump sum payment upwards of $10,000. We were not informed of this loan stipulation what so ever and it would have caused us extreme distress and financial instability. Due to this we have chosen to not deal with this company in the future. We have informed them of this but they continue to contact us.Business response

i will go get all of the customers info deleted plus change all info to false contact info incase anything slips threw cracks
so if for some reason it comes across marketing due to a comp glitch phone number and address will be wrong

I went to an event at this dealership. I met with a salesperson, and filled out an information form. A few minutes later, I said that I didn't want a credit check done. The salesperson said "No problem. We won't do one." They did one anyway. I called the next day, and the salesperson now said that they had done it before I had said I didn't want one done (when he had said they wouldn't do one the day that I was there). The salesperson literally laughed at me about the situation. I spoke to the General Manager, who refused to correct the situation, stating that the credit check was done when I had said I didn't want one done (again, when the salesperson had said they wouldn't do one), and said that the only way to correct was if he could send an information form that wasn't signed (not true- * **** * ********** ********* ** ****** ** *********** *** ******* *** this is FALSE). I signed the form, however I withdrew my consent.Business response

this gentleman signed off on our credit authorization sheet and did not request to withdrawal his application till quite a bit later.

I am rejecting this response because: the salesperson indicated that a credit check would not be done. The business did one anyway, after saying that one would not be done.They don't seem to understand the concept of the right to withdraw consent. They may have a signed form- that consent was withdrawn, and I do not believe that they had already done the credit check before consent was withdrawn (as per the salesperson accepting the withdrawal of consent and saying a credit check would not be done). They are clearly unaware of their legal duty under access to information and privacy law.

we have the time on file when credit was given and pulled and when it was withdrawn
that's all we can go off of
the customers credit score was not affected or lowered
