    I brought in my wedding ring to be resized on May 2nd. ***** told us the ring would be ready for Thursday, May 4th. I called on Thursday afternoon and ***** confirmed it was ready for pickup. I came in Friday afternoon and ***** had no recollection of who I was or what I had dropped off. He then went to his office and found my ring, he told me he had been too busy to even start on it. I asked him if he could have it ready for the next day and he said he would. The next day, Saturday, my husband went to pick it up and paid the agreed upon price. When I received my ring, the ring was not properly resized and there was a huge gap between the ring bands. I immediately called ***** and asked him what had happened to my ring. He told me that he should have taken apart the rings and sized them both and resaudered them. I agreed and told him I would be in on Monday. I called his store back later because I had decided I didn't trust him any longer to complete the work properly and that I wanted to be refunded and to take my ring elsewhere. But he did not return my call so I wasn't able to tell him that. On Monday I went in and asked for the refund, he told me he would do the work for free and I declined his offer, I wanted another opinion. He told me he rushed thru my repair, that he should have called me to tell me he needed more time and that he was sorry for the inconvenience to me for this. I went to another jeweller nearby, **** ******* in Stony Plain whose Goldsmith informed me that ***** had cut my ring three times and hammered it so hard they were concerned the gold would shatter when they take the rings apart. They estimated that he had caused over $500 worth of damage to my ring. I called ***** to let him know what another professional said about his work and what his mistakes would cost me, he HUNG UP on me mid sentence. Extremely unprofessional!
