I purchased a leather bag from Canada Leathers situated in ******* over 10 years ago. I sent it to them as per the instructions on their website last January to have the lining repaired which I fully expected to pay for. I received a confirmation from Canada Post that the bag did arrive in their PO box but I never heard from them. They do not answer their phone or respond to the several emails I have sent. At this point I just want the bag back or a replacement bag if they have lost mine. I really don't care if they do the repairs.Business response

After we filed a complaint with you the company did contact us and we did reach an agreement where they offered to sell us a new bag at half price as the one I sent would be very expensive to repair. They also offered free delivery for both the old and new bag. We accepted the offer and asked for further details on how to pay. One week later they had not responded so we emailed them again asking for an immediate response. They did get back to us right away and sent us a ****** invoice for $166. Which we paid online with a credit card. Given our history with this company we would like to keep this complaint open until we actually receive the bags. Once we do we will contact you and then you can notify the company that the complaint has been resolved. Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter.Customer response

I wanted to return a wallet and a smart phone pocket and went through the return process with Canada Leathers on the phone. I sent the items through ****** **** on January 5th and according to the tracking number they received them on the 9th of January. They continue to deny that they received anything and they keep telling me that they will look into it and get back to me, which they never do. I have emailed them and phoned them multiple times and they never get back. I even provided them with the tracking number so they could see for themselves that the items were returned but they refuse to cooperate. They will not return my money to me.Business response

we have spoke with you on the phone. we looked into this and we cannot find nor recall that the parcel has been received by us. this has never happened. It is unfortunate. we advised to please look into Canada post as they should look and track the parcel. it is unfortunate and out of our hands as we are not the sender. Sender should contact ****** **** so please do so. they will refund you the declared value if they cannot track the items. look into this first please. we would love to help but we dont have the package.
