August 5, 2022 I attended the Abbotsford airshow and was overcharged. I went to booth #6 and the volunteer older man says I was charged $60 CAD on my credit card, I thought I was overcharged. I asked for a receipt but he said it was not available. **** ** *** ****** With a big line(waited 30minutes+) up to the gate and the show already going I drove away but I felt I needed to talk to an Abbotsford airshow reception. I ask the person at information desk for help and she directed me to contact Dave R**** (operation manager). *** **** **** ***** *** * ****** **** *********** **** **** **** ************ I called Dave and left a voice message and also a text message. Dave texted me to send an email to ************************** so the staff can investigate and deal with me instead. I received no response and so I called the credit card company. They said I was charged in American dollars $64.20 and then with their conversion of 2.5 percent charge to Canadian it came out to $85.46. The charge for one person is $33 cad and $10 cad for a car. I am the only person in the car so the final charge should be $43 cad. The price list online was taken down after a week the show was done. In total I emailed 3 times since August 7th, 22 with no reply and also the manager hasn't replied me back when I told him I was charged in USD. This is a Canadian show and I was at the gate to pay with a Canadian dollar credit card. I called my credit card company and they say I should file a complaint to BBB. Thanks for the help! I am sure there are alot more people being over charged in USD but didn't realize it yet! Please ask this airshow organization for explanations!Business response
