Our basement flooded and the insurance broker set us up with CJB to help get the water out. They were fairly quick to come by and take pictures and measurements for their own use not so quick for anything else. We drained the water, We opened the walls. We pulled all the carpet except 2 rooms. CJB sent one guy to help suck water. He showed up around 9 and left after an hour. I kept sucking water for hours and hours more that night and the next morning. Fast forward, the insurance company wanted to use their own restoration firm. CJB then sent a **** invoice for $9600 or roughly $2000/man hour. We argued it and they dropped to $7600 for roughly 5-6 man hours of work. We further argued and they then asked us today to submit it to the insurance company ** *****. **** ******* ** ****** ** ** ****** ********* ****** *** **** **** ****** *** **** ******* ***? We have spoken with the homeowner in regards to this complaint, and the heart of the issue was dealt with and addressed between CJB and the homeowner of notice. This issue has now been resolved to the satisfaction of the parties.Customer response
