Our Furnace had an issue within the warranty timeframe and we called on Langfield Heating as they are the ones who installed the furnace when the house was being built. He took days to get back to us said it was still under the warranty but he was too busy to come out. So we took the blower to have it tested and the computer part was faulty so he ordered the part from ******* ***** which was great, we waited weeks during the hottest days in June we have ever had (with no AC) and he kept saying they never called him back over and over again. He then gave my husband the phone # for ******* ***** and the lady was great, said she had it and it just needed to be programmed once she had the information it was done in a few hours. Now ******* ***** only deals with the company usually so we still had to have Langfield go pick up the part, we etransferred him, we had to drive to Abbotsford to get the part from him and had to install it ourselves because he **** *** ***** and said when the warranty comes back we will get our money back for the part. Fast forward its been months we reach out to find out about the warranty and he never usually answers, so I decided to reach out and he answers says he vaguely remembers and that he will look into it. I leave it a few months and reach out again, no answer so I decide to ask the ******* ***** where the part came from and would have been sent back for warranty and they are also waiting for him to return the part and return phone calls in general. I understand the complaint has nothing to do with ******* ***** but the fact our "new part" can't even be warrantied because it has been too long also seems unfair. So not only did Langfield Heating not follow through with anything with the customer he doesn't even deal with his vendors. So now we are out money that should rightfully be ours and no warranty on the new part. ***** ******** **** Not impressed to say the least!Customer response

So here are the answers you requested:
1) House was a new build and the builder purchased and it was installed late 2016 Oct, Nov, Dec timeline we moved in March 2017.
2) We had issues in June of 2021 and Langfield Heating confirmed the part was under warranty. It was removed and tested to verify the correct part was being ordered. I believe he mentioned it was a 5 year warranty on that part.
3) We have had many attempts at texts between him as that is the only way to get an answer in the past. He stopped answering my husband so I tried to communicate and we have tried multiple times since Jan of this year.
The last thing he said in Jan this year was that he remembers bringing out the blower and he doesn't remember much else about it. When we mentioned the money back for the part we paid for that was warrantied he has said nothing since then.
